Inspired by Nature, “Harmony 72” is a vibrant colourful wall sculpture revealing an unconventional abstract beauty symbolise the growth of cells with its undulating organic shapes.
The particularity of this piece is that I mixed Art and Technology to make this artwork real. This unique work required a lot of time of FDM 3D printing.
This sculptural piece took me 3 1/2 months of work: drawing the idea, FDM 3D printing, sanding each elements, 2 layers of primer, 4 layers of lacquered paint on each of the 72 elements and on the wooden background. Precision of the painting is the key with the difficult gradient composed of 5 vibrant colors which are following the irregular movement of the sculptural shape.
